18. Take a test booking

Step 18: Take a test booking

Buy from yourself, with fake money, and prove the whole chain works before a customer tests it for you.

What to do

Dashboard > Set up your store > Take a test booking, then Try it.

1. You land on the internal booking page with a banner telling you where you are.
2. Pick any item and add it to the cart.
3. Check out.
4. Pay with the test card 4242 4242 4242 4242, any future expiry, any CVC.
5. Complete the booking.

Then do the part people skip

1. Check the confirmation arrived, and read all of it. Business name, phone number, address, working link. That email is what most customers judge you on before they meet you.
2. Find the booking in the app, on the calendar, at the time you picked.
3. Sign the waiver as the customer would, on a phone, so you know what you are asking of them.
4. Check it appears on the journey board and the manifest.

Anything broken in that chain is now found, rather than on your opening Saturday.
