Step 14: Availability
Every "why can nobody book this" question is one of three layers.
An item can never be bookable outside your location's hours, whatever the other two say.
Layer 2: the item's weekly schedule
Fleet & Tours > Fleet, the green Edit Pricing icon, then open the season and click Opening Schedule.
- Tick Open for each day this item trades, and set Open Time and Close Time.
- Copy Monday to All pushes one day's hours onto the rest.
- Save.
A day left unticked is closed for that item even when your location is open. That is the point of it, and it is also how something ends up accidentally closed for a month.
Layer 3: one-off closures
For one item, in the same season editor, open Date Overrides (Pricing & Availability), click Add Schedule Exception, set the Date, tick Closed and save.
For several items at once, use Availability in the sidebar:
- Click the grid cell for the item on the closure date, or click Add Override.
- Confirm Select Inventory, then set Max Available.
- Set Start Date and End Date, and name the override.
- Save.
0 closes the item outright and the chip turns red. 3 means three can be booked, whatever you own.
Save stays disabled until inventory, cap and both dates are set. Once saved, the inventory selection is locked, so a wrong item means deleting the override and adding it again.
For a public holiday that closes the whole location, use the Holidays page, reached from the gear menu on Inventory as Schedule Exceptions. See Holidays and closures.
You are done when
Your items trade on the days you actually trade, and you know which of the three layers to check first when something looks closed.
