Step 17: Put booking on your website
You already have a booking page. This step is about where you point people at it.
No website
Fine. Your hosted booking page works on its own. Put the link in your Instagram bio, on your Google listing, in your email signature, and on a QR code at the counter. You are taking bookings.
Location Settings > Online Booking > Links & Access is where the link lives.
With a website
The same screen carries an embed snippet, which puts the booking flow inside your own page rather than sending people away from it.
- Copy the snippet.
- In your website builder, add an HTML or embed block on the page you want it on. Most builders call it a custom HTML block.
- Paste, save and publish.
See Booking widget for the options the embed accepts.
Then test it as a customer
Go through your own public page: pick an item, a date and a time, and go to the end.
You are checking three things:
| Check | If it is wrong |
|---|---|
| The item you expect is listed | Its schedule or season, step 14 |
| The times you expect are offered | Location hours or the item's opening schedule, step 6 and step 14 |
| The price you expect appears | The season's rates, step 13 |
Do not take a real payment here. That is step 18, and there is a proper way to do it.
You are done when
Your booking page is reachable from everywhere you already exist, and a stranger could find it without asking you for a link.
