Your storefront and listing pages on RentalTide's own booking site: how bookings work, what each page shows, and how to turn it off.

book.rentaltide.com is RentalTide's own booking site. Every RentalTide business with a connected Stripe account is listed there by default: a storefront for your business (book.rentaltide.com/your-business) and a page for each public listing.

What each listing page shows

Most of the page comes straight from your settings, so it always matches checkout:

  • Instant confirmation (unless the listing or location needs approval)
  • Free cancellation window, from your self-service cancellation and cancellation policy
  • Departure times and duration
  • Minimum age and how many guests
  • The "from" price, including any booking fee you pass on to customers, and GST for Australian and New Zealand listings
  • A live calendar that offers the same days and times as your checkout

The rest is your public listing. Open any listing and go to the Public listing step:

  • Public title: what a customer books, in words ("Pontoon boat rental on Lake Havasu"). Your inventory name stays internal.
  • Public photos and public description
  • Highlights, itinerary, what's included, what to bring, know before you go, meeting point and FAQs

Draft with AI writes a first version from your description and your website, and you accept, edit or skip each part. Some listings start with AI-drafted sections, marked AI draft until you review them. For a tour linked to a tour product, what's included, the FAQs and the meeting point name come from the tour and are edited there.

Reviews

A listing shows its own ratings from your post-booking review page once it has 3. Until then it shows your business's overall rating, labelled as such. Your Google rating is shown separately.

A listing appears in search and on the home page when its completeness score is 70 or more, it has a price, and it has an open date in the next 60 days. Other listings still have their own page you can share, but they are not shown in search. The completeness meter on the Public listing step lists what is missing and takes you to it.

Turning it off

Settings → Modules → OTAs & Resellers → Listed on book.rentaltide.com. Switch a whole location or a single listing off; it leaves the site within a few minutes. Turn it back on any time. A business that turns it off is never added back automatically.
