Once connected, Claude can use the RentalTide tools below. Which ones appear depends on the permissions you approved. Read-only lookups run freely; every change is confirmed in Claude before it happens and recorded in Integrations → Claude → Recent Claude Activity.
Claude never takes payments or moves money. Bookings it creates leave the balance due for you to collect in RentalTide.

Create bookings
Walk-up booking — an on-the-spot hold that reserves an asset right now.
"Create a walk-up booking for a SeaDoo at the Marina."
Scheduled booking — a reservation for a specific future date and time. It reserves the slot and leaves the balance due; it does not charge a card. You can optionally have Claude email the customer a payment link.

Manage pricing
Claude edits pricing seasons and add-ons safely — it always works from your current pricing, so changing one season never disturbs the others, and your add-ons are always preserved.

Update location settings

Nested settings are updated in place — Claude changes what you ask for and leaves the rest untouched.
Build your AI knowledge base
Claude helps you build the knowledge base that powers your own customer-facing AI chat widget — the FAQ and info it answers from.

Edit your website
Claude can edit the content of your Boardwalk website — headings, descriptions, business info, and sections. It works from your current site content and merges your change in, so untouched pages and sections are preserved.

Claude edits content only — it doesn't touch custom domains, publishing, or deleting the site; those stay in the RentalTide app.
Permissions
Each tool requires a permission you approve at setup. You can grant only what you want Claude to help with.

There is intentionally no payment permission — the connector can't charge or refund.
How changes stay safe
- Confirmed: Claude asks before any change and shows what it will do.
- Your data only: every change is checked against your account.
- No double-applies: retried actions won't duplicate a booking or edit.
- Daily limits: there's a cap on how much can change through the connector each day.
- Visible: see everything in Integrations → Claude → Recent Claude Activity.
- Reversible control: pause or remove the connection any time.
