Your Lite website

Opening your website, the Opening soon page, a site password, editing, and your own domain

Your Lite website

Every Lite business gets a website, written for you at signup from what you told us about your business. It is free and always included.

Opening soon, until you open it

A new website shows an Opening soon page to visitors. It stays that way until you open it, so nothing half-finished is ever public.

To open it, go to Website and press Open your website (or Open my website during setup). The first time, it asks for a card on file. Your RentalTide fees come out of your payouts, and the card is only charged if a balance cannot be taken from them for 30 days. See Billing.

Only an owner or admin can open the website.

A password while it is private

Want to show the site to a few people first? Under Site password on the Website screen, set a password and share it. While your website is private, visitors need it to see the site. Saving a new password replaces the old one.

Editing your website

The Website screen covers what most businesses change:

  • Top of your homepage: the photo, headline and subheadline.
  • About your business.
  • Contact and hours: shown on your website as you write them.
  • Sections: which sections appear.
  • Theme.
  • Rewrite with AI: suggests new wording; you pick what to keep, then publish.

Changes are saved and published from the same screen.

Your address and your own domain

Your website lives on a rentaltide.com address. To use your own domain, choose Connect your own domain under More. Connecting a domain is free.

Lite websites carry a small Powered by RentalTide badge.

When you pause

While your business is paused, your website shows a private page instead of your site. It comes back when you resume. See Pausing for the season.
